60d exposure level indicator in movie mode

I am very pleased with my new Canon 60d. I use it almost exclusively in "Movie Mode" and shoot in the manual mode. I love the control it gives me. Coming from a film background, it gives me the same range of control as I had from film cameras...and much more. The "much more" that I like most is being able to preview the exposure of the scene and see what bracketing my exposure will do to the image in real time. As directed in the instruction manual, in order to have the Exposure Level Indicator appear on the LCD monitor screen, I push half way down on the shutter button (no problem). However, after a few seconds, the level indicator disappears. Granted, this gives me plenty of time to set the initial exposure, but it doesn't allow me to track the exposure over a longer period as the scene plays out. My question: is there a way to keep the Exposure Level Indicator active longer (like "always") or until I turn it off?
Many thanks!

Not with the canon settings that I've seen.

A second for using Magic Lantern. It provides orders of magnitude more precise control of exposure and a ton of addition features to many of the Canon DSLR's including the 60D.

Cheers,
Pete
