having tried all the major dslrs, i found the GH2 was the one least prone to artifacting. not saying its immune. just less prone.
my rig is a gh2, with a rayqual-nikon adapter and a variety of old manual focus nikon glass. only drawback is that leaves you with no autofocus and no ois. so you have to be more attentive to focus and motion. but im an old guy who shot slrs back in the 1980's so that doesnt scare me too much ; )
