600D & another $20 steadycam

This is my first try running with the unit yesterday. It's the curved frame design with a gimbal and rotating handle. All the movements have ID 6mm x OD 15mm bearings. I'm building a straight shaft version now because I think it will be subject to less wind forces.

Sure I will post some photos, but I'm busy building the 2nd unit with a straight shaft to see the difference in performance. After that I will take pictures of both .
