Hey everyone,
so tomorrow me and a journalist friend are shooting a short piece for submition into a contest. I have a 7d, dvx100b, and Sony z1u at my disposal. I would love to work soley wih the 7d but am concerned about audio capture. I don't have an external audio recorder yet. Can anyone direct me to any work that has used any combination of these cameras? I am not editing this piece. Would the workflow in post be too overwelming for someone on final cut express? I've never used it, but I have a feeling mixing formats might not be a great idea for the reporter editing this.
I may just end up getting a zoom recorder today if I can find one locally. I definetly would if this were a paying gig, but I'm doing it for free for a friend with the hope of winning some prizes. I'll end up getting one eventually, so maybe I pull this trigger today just in order to shoot everything on the 7d.
But if anyone has tried mixing these cameras let me know. It's for the web, so I can down Rez the 7d stuff to match the other cameras if need be.
