6 Months With The RX10 II

Well my first unit died and they had to send me a new one. I just got back from Florida so I just used the RX10 II to get use to it more and explore what it can do. Overall I am pleased. The focusing is still a slight
frustration to me as I miss a touch screen and like to focus in video mode using the shutter button but Sony dose not play that way. Customized a button to switch between auto and manual focus so I could check the
to see if the autofocus was selecting correctly, most of the time is was. Love Slog2 and I used Kolhi settings which are amazing and require little grading and can be pushed pretty hard. Have a look at the footage.

I was looking at an rx10II in a store and could not find a way to get focus magnifier to work in video mode...store clerk told me it can't. Is that the way it is? Anyone know if RX10III can?

Yes it can, and you set the Focus magnification in the menu. and you set the time you want it to stay magnified, turn the focus ring!
