Made using thousands of 5k raw photos, a timelapse dolly, and 24mm tilt-shift lens on 5d mark2. The actors moved very slow!

Amazing concept and project. How heavy was that chest? Must have been exhausting, what was your shooting frame rate for the live action scenes and what speed did you playback at? I love this, great to see this executed, and so well, I was wondering how this concept would work.
 
Fixed the link, thanks! Shot about 2 frames a second with playback set to 24 fps. I make a full 5k movie in after effects then do editing in a 1080 final cut project. I had them move very slow and the weight of the chest was sometimes a problem, but Emil got through it well. It's not too heavy, but for long periods it can get heavy, it's huge as well and awkward to hold.
 
Great work all around, I have been browsing for some more inspiration in time-lapse/stop motion hybrid styles and there aren't too many really strong videos that use live action, nice to see such a strong showing.
 
Thanks alot. Have you looked into timelapse dolly options? I used the dynamic perception model.
 
I have, I plan to get one eventually, just isn't a priority in my budget currently as I don't get many gigs that have emphasis in timelapse. I have heard good things about dynamic and the kessler pocket dollys. I'm leaning towards Kessler but I haven't gone and compared head to head features yet.

Kessler wins, it's more modular, but DP is great for the price, I plan on upgrading to a Kessler soon and selling my DP.
