5DS R and external monitor?

I just looked at the 5DSR specs at CNET and B&H - one site says it has HDMI out, while the other says it doesn't...

So, can you use the camera with an external monitor while recording video? If so, at which the resolution? Is it a clean signal, and does it drop while recording?

I wouldn't need external recording, but I do need a decent image on an external screen.

There doesn't seem to be any relevant info in this link, except that the camera does have some kind of HDMI out...

I'll answer it - yes it has a mini HDMI out, and it's not clean. Works well enough with my LCDVFE to pull focus. The 5dsr is a hidden gem - shoots brilliantly sharp (clean) 1080p.

Yes it has a full 1080p output that also works while recording for external monitoring. It just has a few icons/lines so the HDMI output cannot be recorded (not ''clean'').
