Hi! I really need some help here. I shot a wedding on the 5D for a couple. 24p. They have some footage A LOT of footage from the past parties that they want added in which was shot on a DVX 24pa. I captured the 24pa footage with the advanced pulldown. When I drop the clips in the timeline it says it's editing in a 29.97 format. SD timeline. then I tried to copy and past and put it in a 23.98 format. The footage was too choppy. So I kept editing in the 29.97 timeline. Then I added the 5d footage, which looks terrible and pixelated. So I then transcoded the 5d footage again in MPEG streamclip to 29.97 hoping that would work. Those clips still look the exact same dropped in the timeline. Since there is way more DVX footage that 5D footage I already know that I'll have to edit in a SD timeline. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong here, can anyone help me out?
