5D Mark III ??? Even in the works?

[MLCinema]

Hello All,

I'm sure this has been discussed, but is there any info on Canon's successor to the Mark II? Will there even be one?

Something like a full frame 7D?

Thank you.

Too early in the production cycle to tell man. Wait 6-10 more months.

Who knows? More curious about the videocam line and how they are going to incorporate all these advances. I'm not sure they are just going to fold up shop on that one just yet. Besides, tomorrow the Scarlet announcements are out with a little more solid production schedule. I wouldn't be surprised if Canon is waiting to see how they position themselves.

Of course the 5DIII is in the works, but I doubt you'll here any serious talk about it until the 1DsIV is ending its cycle.
