I am getting the 5d soon and I already have canon 50 mm 1.8 lens , I heared there is a problem with the 5d full frame sensor if you set the aperture wide at 1.8 ?

does it mean I cannot shoot this wide?! and how is the case with canon 50 mm 1.4 ?

I recently bought and then returned an f1.8 and purchased the 1.4 instead. I'd really like the 1.2 but there is insufficient budget available at this time ;)

I've owned the 1.8 before (used with a 1Ds2) so expected it all to be fine with the 5D2. However, I found the 1.8 to be extremely soft on the 5D2 (both video and 21MP photos), even when manually focused (i.e. without the need for micro AF adjustment). I also noticed substantial barrel distortion that I have not seen on previous cameras, or copies of this lens.

This may be different with your copy of the lens ....

The f1.4 is good, but still not the buttery smooth focus ring I am used to on L glass such as the 24/1.4. In terms of OOF and shallow DOF it's hard to complain for the price. Even the 1.4 benefits from being stopped down to f2 though when it comes to sharpness.

I see , I saw some videos it apears that there is some black corners in the frame , is this the problem from being so soft on the 5d ?! or just somthing they did in post ?.

"Black corners" are likely to be vignetting added in post production, though there is 'some' vignetting when wide open on the f1.8 lens. It's certainly not significant though.

it means i can go with the 1.8 for a while and add another lens for close up shots,
which one is better 85mm 1.8 or 100mm or maybe a third party like sigma lenses
I think you cant do close up shots with 50 mm there is a focus limit .

What you want is the Canon 50/1.8 Mark I not the Mark II. The version 1 has a metal bayonet, not plastic, slightly easier to focus, no Chromatic aberration and may be sharper despite Canon's claims that nothing has changed optically. I have 30+ lenses (including Zeiss and Leica) and amazingly this is one of the sharpest lenses I have ever owned. I bought it used for $45.

well I am stuck with the mk2 :) , I am planning on getting a 1.4 50mm any way , sigma or canon some say that sigma is better ?
and since you have that much of lenses, I need a second lens now for closeups , I found tamron 90mm 2.8 very cheap, what do u think ?
the 85mm 1.8 is good but I think it is a bit close to the 50mm and I really need a very close shots
the 100mm 2.8 macro from canon is also a choice but the IS model is so expensive compared to the tamron.

I really need to finish this and strat shooting ASAP :)
