550D to IKAN monitor

Does anyone have any insight as to how I can get a signal from my 550D to a standard Ikan v8000 HD monitor? I own the original monitor, before they added the HDMI input option.

So basically, I have to go out of the 550D via the mini HDMI port into the monitor's component inputs. (BNC connectors on the inputs)

If possible, what cables would I need to utilize the monitor?

I've got the same monitor and have to use the composite video out from the usb port using the included composite a/v cable.

I spoke with Carlos Tovar at IKAN and he mentioned that for $350 they will upgrade the V8000HD to a new V8000HDMI. Haven't done it yet but I'm thinking of it. They also have the new VX series.

How does the quality look using the composite AV cable? (I have to find mine, I can't remember where I put it)

$350? :undecided Ugghh, they can kiss my ass. It would be a far better move for me to sell the monitor and just get a new monitor with HDMI inputs.
