550D/T2i Registered picture style not in video mode

maybe somebody can clarify this. using the EOS utility, i was able to register picture styles in photo mode (you can't do it during video mode), and i assumed that this would automatically be registered as picture styles for video. but it doesn't. apparently registered picture styles are for photo only while video picture styles must be defined in camera?

how do u use the .pf2 files for video?
 
theryre in camera but you have to press menu when you are in video mode then go to picture styles and press set,then move to user defined style and press disp,when you are in those settings where you can adjust sharpness,contrast etc then you can press SET on the name of your picture style and then up/down to change them.Your styles for stills are there for video too.
