To those of you who did buy a 4K TV: are you happy with how HD upscaled looks on your 4K TVs? If HD is blown up 400%, is there a noticeable loss of quality? Does the image look much softer or pixelated? Next time I'm in Best Buy, I'll ask the sales staff to show me some HD content upscaled.
4k is NOT hd blown up to 400%, It's hd blown up to 200%. Twice the vertical and horizontal resolution. People get this confused because you can fit 4 hd panels in 1 4k frame, so they equate these two, but 400%would be 8k
