4K raw to 4K not raw on a PC what are my options?

I think you can output DNxHD in 4k, but it is not ideal... You should use Cineform for 4k output. pro is $299, but totally worth it. You can download it for trial use to make up your own mind.

Yeah you're right. I was using something... apparently not dnxhd (just updated resolve to 11 and now it's crashing all the time, so I can't check what it was I was using.), but it sucked so I didn't use it more than once. Cineform is what I've been using. It's fast, renders relatively quickly, so I stopped looking at others. At least for now.

Whats a potential delivery codec to corporate clients that has just purchased a 4K monitor?

Does VLC play 4K natively perhaps?

You can go directly from inputting cDNG files into Resolve and exporting h.264 at UHD resolution even with Resolve Lite. Choose QuickTime as the output format and choose H.264 as the codec.

If Adobe ever fixes the cDNG magenta color cast you will be able to do the same thing in PP.

Hi there,
With Cinemartin Plin you can export from Premiere to h264, h265 and prores
With Cinec you can convert almost any output, including output from resolve in Uncompressed, DNxHD or Cineform to the above outputs.
Cinemartin Cinec also allows you to convert a sequence of CinemaDNG to prores or h265, it also includes a raw editor to apply whitebalance, color, saturation, etc ..
