4K hack for 1080p Canon DSLRs

Hi everyone, I came across this link which claims that you can hack a Canon DSLR to shoot in 4K without the need for Magic Lantern. You basically write some instructions on the name of the SD card and apparently it works - is this true?

lol...you could tell how true it is by looking at the video's dislikes.

From the bottom of the video's description, "Also if you couldn't tell by the tone and content of the video, yes this isn't real, stop complaining about 4K. No one is listening to the consumer, should these cameras have it yes, but for the most part no one actually needs it."
