4 questions for users of generic batteries

Four questions for those who have tried generic batteries in their T2i:

1) Which one did you get (link)?

2) How long does it last?

3) Does it charge in the Canon charger without issue?

4) Does it display accurate remaining battery life on the camera?

2) Battery time is definitely comparable to "official" batteries, if not slightly longer. I haven't actively timed the length of life, but it is very good.

3) Charges in it's own brand of charger, will not charge in Canon. Nor will the off brand charger charge Canon's own.

4) No.

Is that what the T2i uses? I thought the LP-E6 is only for the 5D & 7D?

The generic batteries I got for my 7D are 2500mAh and last a fair bit longer than my canon battery.

LP-E6 are for 7D while EP-E8 are for T2i
