Finally... the edits been done and it's time to throw it to the dogs..

What do you think?
It's a film I have made as part of my university degree. See if you can spot the DVX shots ;)

Looks amazing. Great style. Visually brilliant. Top notch. Even the actor was good and had a great 'real' face.

Unfortunately, I could not make out a word of the dialogue.

Stylistically, quite an achievement. Well done.

Nothing but positive things to say about this from me. Great camera work, stylish cutting, and perfect actors. Excellent work!

Actually felt happy for the guy, had a smile on my face. Too bad I know when he comes down he will feel 10 times worse than before he took what seems like extasy. Just a movie I know. Point is..if I'm feeling for the character then you did your job, a good one at that.

I also really felt close to this character in a way after it was over. The actor did a terrific job. and once again, nothing but positive things to say about this. colors, cutting, sound, everything. fit together so well. The last shot of the lead throwing his jacket and running through the field...how did you achieve that shot? The colors are so vibrant, especially the blues in the sky. it looked perfect!

Very Nice!

I was very impressed with the quick cut waking up/going home cutting montage. Great use of cutting.

Watched it several times, great work. I like the dolly shot at his desk, and the depth of field when the two actors are talking outside.

I also watched it several times, which is rare. Most of the times I don't get past the first 30 seconds!

Very well done, even the few times that focus was pulled it looked spot on.

looks amazing. Did you use that camera by itself or were there any additional lenses used? It had an amazing depth of field, please let me know. I have a few real big projects coming up and I must say I am very pleased with the quality of that piece. Does anybody know of a place that rents that camera?

The intro was very reminiscent of "Shaun of the Dead's" cinematography.

I love that short.

Brilliant work.

Just wondering but, how old are you? I read the specs on the camera and it indicated no sign of 24p, am i missing something?

Wow. I really enjoyed watching that. Was the shot of his eye at night the DVX footage? Your use of depth of field was great and I have to say that even though it was brief it was some of the best acting I've seen posted in this forum. Very natural.
One thing I had a little trouble believing was the character's decision to take the drug. It would have been nice to at least have a few of those quick shots showing more monotony and him contemplating on taking them. Maybe him opening the drawer and shutting it.
But other than that I thought it was flawless.

Great job!

excellent use of sigur ros' music! loved it. it really put me in a cheery mood, and i didnt even have to take the pill that the character took.

Very well done. I must admit that I was feeling a bit claustrophobic at first with no wide establishing shots. Then seeing how it widens out and opens up at the end it made sense.
