4 Days with the Sony NEX-FS700

Maybe it's just me, but I consider timelapse to be intervals of 1 second or more and any thing less to be variable frame rates. By that definition, the FS700 does not offer timelapse because at 1 fps, the interval between exposures is less then 1 second. Of course it's all just semantics.

Yeah, maybe not TRUE timelapse.....but I made this with the FS100:

Adam Wilt said twice that cine 4 had the best highlight handling and maybe knee was enabled. I think Cinegammas (XDCAM) =|= Cinegammas (NXCAM)
I wouldn´t wory too much.

Maybe those screenshots of the LCD help

I am in no way making any decisions yet, have no fear! :) Those LCD screen shots really don't show me anything I want to see on this regard. I think the person stated they shot in Cinegamma 2 for this video, which is what I use, so hopefully you are correct and I can get a bit different performance out of CG3 or CG4 maybe. The FS100 is my first Sony camera so I do not have experience with other models.

Maybe someone that gets one to try out can do a little test. What I ended up doing with my FS100 is dropping the saturation by 2 which helps to keep the camera from clipping so quickly due to single colors. This is a trick I got from Barry about the AF100 and I am fine with it (I actually think the FS100 and AF100 are too saturated out of the box compared to what it really looks like in front of the camera anyways).
