4/3rds adapter error? Please help!

I bought a 4/3rds adapter and then I put on my Nikon lens which seem to fit fine. The a message "Please check that the Lens is attached Correctly" appears and I cant seem to get it off or see an image on my viewfinder.

Is there a setting I need to change in the camera?

you need to turn on the option "SHOOT W/O LENS" its on page five of the setting menu.
