4:3 HD video size possible with ML for 2x Anamorphic??

I currently have a couple of GH1s and a GH2...powerhouses for bitrate, but the HDR of Magic Lantern makes that increasingly attractive for when it comes time to replace the GH1s.

Is it possible that ML could also give HD resolution files at 4:3 ratio like 1440 x 1080 or 1920 x 1440? The GH hack can do 2x anamorphic, but only on MJPEG and that can only do 30p. Only way to get anamorphic at 24fps is to use a 1.33x adapter and those are way expensive now. Plus even new prime anamorphics are 2x right?

Is it possible at all for ML to give 4:3 HD?

so far as we have seen no. The image processing is handled on the other side of the digic where nobody outside of canon has access to modify that code. If you look at ML all of the things it is doing to the image are done after it leaves the sensor and not on it. Sad i know because i would love to be able to use my 2x anamorphic lens' but i will have to wait until i can afford a GH2 or something new comes out maybe.

Appreciate the reply...sigh....looks like the best we can hope is if the Kineraw S8 is priced as low as it might be.
