Hey Everyone,
Do any of you know if there is a plugin for Final Cut Pro that will smooth the jaggy nature of interlaced 4:2:0 HDV Color? I love the look of XL H1 images but any time there are highly saturated areas in the frame, like streetlights for instance, the jaggy look of HDV Chroma subsampling rears it's ugly head. The only thing I've found so far are Nattress' plugins for Silicon Color's Final Touch, but then of course you have to have Final Touch!
Here's a link to the Nattress plugins:
http://www.nattress.com/Products/FinalTouch/FTGChromaSmooth.htm
Anyway, anyone know of an FCP equivalent?
Many Thanks,
Juan
