3D with no glasses

I'm not sure this is supposed to be a joke or not.
It has me worried though, on a number of levels.

Either way, the video is cool. It's got 303 viewings at the moment but it wouldn't surprise me if it caught on.

Its a good job, but a joke.
Reasons why I think its fake.
Why would a simple pulse require time to rev up when turned on, and rev down when clicked off.
Also the placement of the pads would have to be really specific to control one small mussel group and not effect anything else, the placement seams to be targeting nerves and not mussels as well.

If there was something that could make you flex that fast for long periods of time, no way could it be safe, or it could be the best weight loss system ever, think about how many calories could be burned watching a movie. Or stick that on your forearm and you have the next gen shake weight.

Put them all over your body and you can go out as M.J. FOX for Halloween (Too soon? lol)

It's fake. The average response time from brain to muscle is around 10 ms which is pretty slow.
The eyelids being closest to the brain may be a bit less, but this just isn't going to happen.

Anyways, cheers man.

Finally, not !
I cant believe you guys ofcourse it's not real ,...LOL .

I have a nephew that can do this ....Im gonna, no wait he's in the forrest bummer.

This isn't advertising a brain control but stimulation by electricity, the brain has nothing to do with it, like a dead frog's leg jumping when zapped

I logged into 'user for the first time in like a month to make sure that this video had been posted here after seeing it myself about 5 minutes ago posted to me in IRC.

Hilarious.

I think this video is going to be the talk of NAB this year.

"3D with no glasses" .... isn't that called "real life"? Too funny.

-I wonder if you can change the shutter speed?
-Happy side effect, really strong eyelids!
-God help you if you're an epileptic.
-I believe Trojan makes something like this for a different body part!

SI saw this yesterday. It had 500 views then. Now over a million. It still amazes me how fast these things can move

Now I will say, the 3DS from Nintendo is 3D without glasses. VERY cool technology. However, it's for one person using the device at one time. I have a friend who has developed for the 3DS so I've not used it personally.

On a serious note... I heard from someone who went to CES this year that there is some 3D without glasses becoming available... Sony products.

Saw that Sony has a portable 3D blu-ray player that doesn't need glasses. It has a lenticular screen (I think) and so for one person, sitting at just the right position, it does 3D without glasses. Saw this tech on Bloom's little (Fuji?) stills camera, and it really worked surprisingly well.

29 hours and it's gone from 303 to 519 451 views with these tags: 3D, No, Glasses, Jonathan, Post, stereoscopic, Shutter.

It hit major geek outlets. Goes hand in hand with what I was saying in the thread: it must get there before you can see thee numbers.

And it's also spoofing someone elses intellectual property. an absolutely current topic and fad.
