3D Video with the GH2

Is anybody successfully shooting 3D video with the Panasonic GH2 / GH1 with the Panasonic 3D still lens ( H-FT012
3D LUMIX G 12.5mm / F12 ) by taping over the contacts, or by split beam configuration? I've seen several videos online, and wonder ...

What the resolution and framerate is on the frames?
(Can you do proper 1080p 24fps)

How do you separate and edit L / R frames?

Anybody tried 3D timelapses at night?

How is Low light performance?

If splitbeam configuration, how are you synching cameras?

Thanks for any tips & good shooting!

I haven't tried it yet since I haven't gotten my camera yet, but it seems like there are successful videos on youtube. Try PMing a few of them and let us know what they say.

This is a great feature!

Cheers

Apparently you just need to cover up the lens electronic contacts with paper or tape or something to prevent the camera from realizing there is a lens attached.
