For all of the cc, it was done in fcp with just a 3-way color corrector. I like MB very much, but it's just played out. So I'm trying to do it myself and thank you for the comment.

I agree MB is way over done. Nice to see that you did this on your own. Great job.

That was good stuff twocik23! Was that the adapter you posted how
to make? Nice work! Did you sandbag the tripod or what?

Questions for the poster:

What adapter are you using?

What lenses are you using?

Is this the DVX100a or B?

Need more info. The footage looks great, can we clarify wat's going on here?

Hey guys it's shot on a dvx100b with a 35mm adapter that I made. No sandbags, just me holding it in the car. I did apply a little bit of pressure to it though. Also the lens that I used was a konica 50mm pancake lens.

Schmovies Production...you being new to this site, I suggest you write something a little more intelligent next time.

Sorry it's not up to your standards, Mr. 12 Post Spielberg. Why don't you post some footage and let's see what you got!!!

Thank you drunkshy. You know some people always have to hate. It's not like I put up the best 35mm footage ever, it was just a test. Hmmmm, I guess some people can't read. Well enough with the childs play, let's get back to business.

Ok. You are right. I've been a little hypercritical and I'm sorry if this offended you. My job since 1986 is buying movies for an indipendent italian distribution. My eye has the "commercial" lock and after viewing your footage I said a fast no according to my criteria. I didn't consider, and i do it now with all the possible respect, that you were testing the camera with a new 35 adptr that you built, that you used a Konica lens (not the best, I assume) and that you are already on the 24p/dof path that, for me, is the best way to produce nice digital images with a solid visual commercial value (the content is another story). I consider your job has a great potential, you choiches reveal a good eye for filmic composition, the use of details was noticeable, and the frame with the two girls on the wheel was great but the focus goes a little over the focus. The color correction is ok except a little washed white in the first frames. What disappointed me was the truck pan that takes the 35% of timescreen. that's a little bit blurry. With that i lost the contact. Maybe i was just tryng to say "show me more".
I don't have any footage to show for now. I'm on this forum to understand what can the best workflow to produce low budget digital genre movies for the straight to video market and if the visual results can be sold.
I sincerely wish you all the best.

Apology accepted Schmovies no hard feelings, Hey that's what makes us try harder. So in a way thanks for your comments.
