35mm lens adapter?

I've just purchased a Panasonic DVX100, and I'm interested in getting a lens adapter for it, something that would change allow for a depth of field that would be close to 35mm.

Can anyone tell me what I should get, how much I can expect to pay, and where would be a good place to buy one?

I'm also curious as to how well footage shot with the adapter would splice with footage shot without one - would this look strange?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

hey man, you are about to get told the following things by everyone.
read this forum: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/forumdisplay.php?f=113
this is a sticky that compares the brands: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=127099
and then everything else you need is either in the stickys at the top, or go to search, advanced search, then type in keywords and in the bottom right of your screen of the advanced search menu only select the 35mm adapter forum to search. that should cover you for a long while

i basically did the same thing, and it is kind of daunting looking at everything to read. but just dive in and it helps a lot. good luck

You can now spend months reading the amount of information available to you on this forum. Go to the 35mm adapter thread and start going through the pages. Check out vimeo to see samples of all the different adapters in use.
