For anyone who can Help,

I have been using my Canon for many short films, however I want to step it up a notch and am interested in getting my hands on a 35mm lens.

To be honest, that's pretty much all i know about the 35mm lens. If someone could give me a short schooling on, well, everything about 35 mm, to the right one to buy, or what I keep seeing, a DIY 35mm. I just keep finding my mind in a confuse state when I see all of this.

Thanks!

Harvey

to use a 35mm lens with the xh-a1 you need to get a 35mm adapter. there's a few different manufacturers of 35mm adapters, but the big ones you'll find a lot of information about on this forum are the letus extreme, sgpro, brevis, and to a lesser extent redrock micro. each one has differing attributes, so what I'd suggest is you head over to the 35mm forum and read up - there is a lot of information and a 35mm adapter is a huge investment because it has quite a few hidden costs. you don't want to buy one and all of the peripherals just to realize you didn't need it. also, be prepared to spend a lot of time learning how to use one effectively.

Damn.

I was actually eyeballing the Letus Extreme because it has a built in flip module, but oh my, I just actually looked at the SG Pro for the first time and I'm quite impressed.
