35mm Adapter Test Montage

****, you made that thing out of cardboard and superglue??

Pretty damn impressive! The image isn't perfect. Lacking in edge to edge sharpness but you're well on your way!

Yeah, the sharpness was lacking pretty bad, but for what you made it out of, WOW! Good job!

Also, very nice skating. 360 flips = love.

Nikkor 50mm f1.2 lens^

The tube consists of 2 4x6" photographic paper rolls glued and taped together.
The 35mm lens mount is the plastic "cap" to the paper roll The center has been filed down to shove a nikon back lens cap with the back knocked out of it. Those are super glued together.
And on the other end, there are 3 Hoya 72mm closeup filters. (+4,+2, and +1) Those are screwed together and stuffed into the cardboard tube, after I wrapped some gaffer tape around the inside to make a tight fit.

It's definitely not the most compact, or prettiest 35mm adapter, but I suppose it gets the job done.

Oh, and there is no ground glass. All there is to the adapter is the lens, and closeup filters. I'm not quite sure how it works, but it works! (If anyone could explain this to me, I'd love to know!) I focus using the DVX's focus ring. Is that how everybody focuses with 35mm adapters?
