35mm adapter rig photos

Yes, please share your thoughts on the FF. I would also appreciate hearing your opinion on it.

Is the Pro35 really worth the extra cost for people that want to use Cine lenses compared to getting one of the other adapters with a PL mount? Or is it just a name brand thing?

As far as I know it is a horrible waste of money, I just thought it was cool to see a Master Prime on an adapter.

what monitor is that?

It's just a Sony FX-820 DVD player that I feed a composite signal to just for framing.

I'm going to add an external monitor for critical focusing but am waiting for the next crop of monitors to be released (SmallHD, Marshall SDI, etc.) before buying one...

how do you like the Durus Follow Focus? there aren't many reviews on that so I would like to know

I'm really liking it so far; very solidly built (w/lifetime warranty) and no detectable play anywhere in the gear train. It was a long wait for it to be released but worth it IMHO.

Just bought the M2 from a fellow dvxuser member today... Didn't have a 82-72 ring so I haven't been able to hook it up to my HVX yet - but I was able to put it together with my DVX and the RR Mattebox as well as my gigungo nikon 300 fixed. It's really cool to be able to get the shallow DOF! Can't wait to shoot a project with it this weekend... It also feels good to finally post in this thread

M2E with Canon XH-A1

Here's my M2E indie bundle with the Canon XH-A1 and a Canon FD 50mm f1.4. It's not gonna wow you yet, I've got to take a picture of the rig with the RR shoulder mount I just got as well as my mattebox and FF.

HPX-170 SGpro OCT 19/Lomo Rig

Here's my hopefully last HD/35mm adapter setup. This rig should tide me over until the Scarlet comes to market. At that time I will take my Lomos and migrate over to Scarlet S35. Only time will tell...

Ian, what kind of power kit is that on your rig? I've been looking for a nice battery pack, but not quite sure what I should look for. Also, what kind of run time do you get out of it?

That's a 14.4 volt v-mount battery system. it only powers the monitor although I could tap it to run the camera as well if I stepped the voltage down. Each battery lasts about 3 hours of continuous use.

I'm still getting my setup right, but this is where I'm at so far. The monitor looks great and I still need to attach that battery, I just don't know how I want to do it yet. Sorry for the crappy blackberry pics in my messy office.:Drogar-Dum(DBG):
