30f... I know it goes on a 60i timeline, but how do I export?

Hey guys, I keep getting this strange "lag" when I use 24f at 1/48th shutter where the mouth does not sync well with the audio (60i this is fine), so I want to try 30f. I want progressive because I do web videos at work and I hate deinterlacing.

What I was wondering is how do you export once your project is done? If it is on a 60i timeline, won't it render out as 60i rather than 30 frames progressive?

If anyone can help me here I would greatly appreciate it, I'm sure it is an easy answer but I searched everywhere and could not find a good fix.

30F doesn't go on 60i because it is progressive. It depends on what NLE you're on but it should definitely be on a progressive timeline.

I am using Final Cut Pro. I heard that you must put it on a 60i timeline because there is no 30f import?
