So....
I have a Japanese GH1 very stylish red color...Japanese Menu is slightly annoying...but I got a great deal on it...I need a Fisheye for shooting Rock Climbing, where the subject is often quite close....In an ideal world I'd like to get the new Vario 7-14mm...my friend has one and while the image looks Bitchin, but I am little gun shy about Big purchases, partially due to the fact that my last GH1 fell in the Ocean, leaving me slightly broker than planned...I've been surfing around looking at cheaper options...
Barry's test with the Peleng 8mm looked good to me..but these are even cheaper I believe....Any experience with these two Fisheyes???
Rokinon 8mm F3.5 Ultra-Wide Fisheye
Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5 Manual Focus Aspherical Fisheye Lens...this seems particularly interesting because it t would have an even wider field of view than the 7-14 right??
Curious if anyone can confirm that these are amazing...suck...or fall somewhere in between, and how they compare to more expensive options...including the Peleng.
Thanks A lot.
