I am in the near future going to be purchasing a 2nd camera.
I currently have a xha1, I'm considering the ex1 as an "a" cam and using the a1 as an "b".
Would this pose a problem in editing, or would I do better with a second a1?
I found myself in a similar situation. My friend is purchasing an EX1, and I was considering an XH A1, and brought up the idea of mine being the secondary camera for some projects. He told me it would cause problems editing in two different formats because the EX1 is 1080p, and the XH A1 is 1080i. I don't see why there would be any problems if you shot in the 1080i mode tbh
The A1 from what understand could be 1080p if you shoot in 24f or 30f. P just means pregressive right, so whatever the technical details of the chip are if you are shooting in a "progressive" mode at 1080 then you are at 1080p right? There is no format for showing 1080p right now other than blu-ray so it may be moot... I may be completely wrong but I think I'm right
