Tom Judd Member Feb 3, 2008 #3 I also believe in Saving Private Ryan, the cinematographer used a special filter on the camera to get that flat-coloured look. It also caused light to beam vertically, from memory. But in terms of the colour, I'm sure you can just do that in post.
