$25 shoulder mount

I have been looking at several under $100 DSLR mounts, and kept coming back to a $25 Opteka Shoulder mount:

There aren't many reviews and for $25, while it's not a huge risk if it sucks, the old "you get what you pay for" kept me away from actually ordering.

That was until I saw Phil Bloom hawking it on this video:

I just ordered it, hopefully it's as good as he says it is and doesn't break during the first week of use.

Any thoughts??

Twice I've bought products based on positive reviews by Bloom. I regret both purchases. One was a shoulder mount similar to this, but more expensive, called Gliders. I should have known by the stupid name. Bloom later went on to recant his support of the device. It actually wasn't terrible but had one extremely weak joint.

The other item was the Sockloupe. I hear they are better now, but the one I bought last Fall is pretty useless on a GH1.

But for $25, how can you really go wrong? Let us know how it works out.

Personally, I've been primarily using a cheapie flash bracket on the left side of my GH1 and a Gorillapod Focus which bends and twists to my needs. I often press 2 legs against my chest and use the third (in front) as a handle. I like this a lot for run and gun handheld.

I have this shoulder mount. It is better than handheld but not great. As with any other rig that touches one's chest, the mount will move with one's breathing. When shooting with longer lenses, I have to hold my breath while shooting. Additionally, with a DSLR, there is no place to put my hands. I plan to switch to a stabilized rig or a better shoulder rig from RedRock or Zacuto.
