25 Frame to 50 field is it possible?

Had to happen, shot some test footage at 25frame. Decided to shot doc. in regular 50field PAL and would now love to use the test footage.
Is there any way to convert 25frame to regular footage?

(I doubt it but here's hoping)

Depends on your NLE. Some NLEs can render your timeline/sequence to nearly any other framerate that you'd need/want. I know at least Vegas can do this.

your 25P is already 50i, only recorded 25 (full) frames per second, rather than 50 different fields.
no way to make your 25 progressive frames look like 50 interlaced fields, since you've never recorded those second 50i fields.

The June release of Xpress Pro has some presets for creating interlace from 25p and progressive from 25o using the FluidMotion engine. I am sure other similar type plug-ins would offer the same such as Twixtor etc.

You can always capture 25p into a 25i project and mix in 25i shot material with no problems at all. No conversion needed. The only difference is that motion will appear different in the 24p compared to the 25i.

Yeah, twixtor is what I was thinking as well. But the problem is that twixtor produces some weird results unless your scenes are carefully shot and then masked in special ways. Very time consuming. You could use frame blending, but I don't know how well that would work. I'm thinking not well.

I know there's a company that makes a really good twixtor type plug in, but it's only compatible with shake and costs like 4 grand. I don't know what your budget is, but that seems pretty massively excessive to me (and I've never even used the program so I can't say how well it would work.)
