how should i fix this, export it and then de interlace? really confused why this is happening now after dozens of shoots.

What timeline are you editing this on? In what app? Looks like the judder frame on a 60i timeline to me.

nope, this is edited in Premier pro 1.5 on a 24p timeline. This is only a problem with Some of the footage, which is weird because i captured all of it in the same fashion and scene file.

for the shots that have this cancer, it happens exactly every 4 frames.

Are you sure it's 24pA and not 24p standard? I hear tell PP 1.5 completely screws the pooch on removing standard pulldown. It improperly reconstructs the C frame, and that would most certainly correspond with getting this every 4th frame.

you know what, im going to blame it on the fact that by taking the camera in and out of my backpack there is a chance the scene file was hit from F6 yto F5, oh well, i guess there is no way to fix this is there? Half of my footage is clean, the other half isnt.

Did you by chance change a scene file from 24p standard to 24pA, then turn off the camera (thus having it revert back to 24p standard)? That's a common occurrence. Or, maybe, as you say, the scene file dial was turned. I've had that happen to me.

I don't think there's a way to fix it in PP 1.5.

So if using PP 1.5, then always use 24Pa? I was wondering which pulldown 1.5 would be suited better for. I used 24Pa for some nice nature scenes, was worried about it, but it looks excellent!

well what you need to do is if you shoot 24pa, then open a 24 timeline, if your shooting 24p, then open a 30 timeline.
