You mean taking 30 fps stock footage and compositing in a 24p timeline? You don't have to do anything. Running a 30 fps footage in a 24 fps timeline will cause it to run in slow motion because of the extra frames. But a 6 frames different won't cause enough slow motion to affect anything.
