Can some please show me some 24P footage or some links to something the 130/a or ac160/.

Have you tried going to youtube or vimeo and searching for Panasonic AC130/160 24p. Sounds odd I know, but you may find some results.

Yes and I have not found much. There is some great footage but doesn't seem to be much in 24p. I'm sure it is probably really good but before I drop $4,000 I'd just like to see some of it. No doubt it is better than my DVX100b!

The AC160 User group on Vimeo is a good resource. Remember that the 130/a and 160/a have the exact same sensors and lens, and also autofocusing systems. 1080/24p video from both camcorders is thus absolutely identical. Same is true of the AC120 ( only sold in Europe ) too.

Here is some 24p test footage experimenting with some of the custom scene file settings that are included with Barry Green's book on the 130/160 Note: If you buy an AC130a or AC160a here in the USA, Barry's outstanding book will come with the camcorder.

I bounce around between filming in 24p and 60fps but always edit and deliver in 24p. All my videos shot with the AC130 work off of scene files from Barry Green's book for the cam and then I color grade from there. I always list what camera's I use on vimeo acct if curious to see more. -Ash von Chamier

Most of this was shot with AC130. Fewer shots throughout with a Canon T3i.

Here is another. 85% shots AC130 and some T3i. Almost all filmed in 24p.

Here is a sample of low light ability. I am running a 160LED light on top with dimmer control. This is closer to half and half with the T3i as it does hold up better in low light for sure with a fast prime. However, the zoom really comes in handy on the PANNY. Most shot in 24p however, I will say in videos like this lately where people dance and stuff, I have preferred to go with 60fps for slo mo. So...again always dropping back into a 24fps timeline.
