24p and 24p advanced

[Lawsuit_Boy]

I know this has been covered on here before, and on the internet elsewhere, but I need a quick lesson...

The question is, what exactly is the difference between 24p and 24p advanced, and what are the pros and cons of each? I have a vague idea, but I'm pretty fuzzy. Any help at all is much appreciated.

thanks dvxuser

I can't believe I've never seen this site before. ...or maybe I have. Not sure. Either way, thank you, Hans.
