...this was more of an excercise in filming than anything else. We were in the middle of a shot (on my first short) and had to reschedule our weekend so I had a free Sat.

The lead actor called me Friday night and asked if I wanted to shot a short film the next day. So I said, "what do you have in terms of script and story?"
"I have nothing!" he replied...
So I wrote out something as a outline/guideline, grabbed my camera equipment and makeup kit, a few changes of clothes and was ready. We had an interesting situation, I told him I would be bringing my family and friend and we would have to shot something with everyone involved. So that meant my two girls, pregnant wife and friend-as well as him two kids (one boy and one girl)
he is the only one with any acting experience at all so it was very interesting and enjoyable...

We shot all morning, took a break for lunch and then shot late until the evening. I then went home and went to sleep, woke up early the next morning and did a quick edit. I know the sound is weak in many areas and wish I had considered that more...
