I am wondering what would be best in my situation. I sold my 28-135 and picked up the 24-105 L casue I thought I needed the extra IQ. The lens is a beast and great quality but I find myself using it very little. I have shot a few small interviews and I love it for the range but will the sharpness diference even be noticeable between this and the cheaper 28-135? If it was faster I would keep it in a second but for interviews and a carry around lens, mostly for video is the extremely large difference in price justified? I already have a 50mm f/1.4 which I use every chance I get but when I need some range or a wide I need other options. I was thinking of dumping the 24-105 for another cheaper midrange zoom like the 28-135(any other suggestions appreciated) and a super wide like the tokina 11-16 which I loved when I tested in my 7d. Just looking for some opinions cause I don't know what the hell to do. Thanks.
