8 drafts? Are those full draft revisions, or minor changes? Just curious as I only just now finished draft 1 of Checkmate and the thought of going through 7 more complete script revisions doesn't sound like fun

It is a mixed bag- some of the drafts are full revisions, and some are just minor changes. From here on out, most of the revisions will be minor changes- that is unless I am not able to secure one of the locations, in which case I'll have to rewrite it for another location I know we'll be able to use ...

Thanks. The simple answer is that Semele is the male lead for the short. More will be revealed when you actually see the film.

So I've been without internet access for the last several days- not that I would have had much time to post anyway. Today is my down day - So I'm going to take it easy today. But, as suggested by Shawn, I thought I'd post a picture of my travels over here- so here you go:

I got a little hungry, so I went down to the local Schloss (sp?) [Castle] to get something to eat. I got a kick out of the deers feet nailed to the door!

Thanks- it has been a fun trip- crazy busy with work- and it is nice to have a day to kick back before heading back to the states. I still want to make it over to the UK, but that will have to be another trip.

CREW UPDATE- Mark Johnson just joined the team. He will be providing the VFX for the short. I'm very excited to have him on board!

Glad to be able to provide some FX for this project. I'm pretty excited and it looks like Ryan's shooting schedule puts my shots in post right about the right time to work into our schedule.
