2015 - Black Friday, Cyber Monday Thread

I found the Canon 100-400 IS lens is at 1299 usd ie 400 usd savings. Unfortunately I have it, else would have bought. Lots of other lens deals as well in B&H. I am scanning to see what to buy for myself and team. Solo quadcopter with Gimbal is 1299 usd instead of 1399 that I paid in June.

I was hoping for a good discount on a smallhd 501 that was better than the recent free sidefinder deal, but it looks to be 10% off only. Not that I'm complaining, just that I'm disappointed!

And I'm hoping that video devices offers a deal on their pix-e5!! That's what I'm holding out for...

"Uhhh... any theories on why it's going for so cheap?"
Don't know - was hoping the same deal would show up somewhere here in the states - but alas - nothing so far.

There's apparently Black Friday even in Russia now. And they have neither the Thanksgiving nor Christmas (well, they have the Greek Orthodox Christmas, which comes after the New Year. The Catholic/Protestant/Lutheran, etc. Christmas of December, 25 that is celebrated in the West is far less popular due to the demographics).

Anyone with an Odyssey7Q or Odyssey7Q+ can get the new Apollo Option as well as the Odyssey RAW Bundle each for $200 off. Buy one or both.

I ordered a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera for $565 shipped from a dealer in Paris called Lovinpix who is running a great special on it.

I've never purchased from them, but i do follow them on twitter because they produced some of the first shots of the Micro Cinema Camera that dealers received. I haven't looked too deeply but they seem to be reputable. and an official dealer, not someone selling gray market stuff. They were active in the BMPCC user group on Facebook yesterday and one of their reps worked with me directly to answer questions and help process the order (because their site is in french).

A nice offer on A7RII at B&H. Free Metabones EF to E adapter ($400 value) and (or and/or?) a $200 in-house rebate. For a top seller, this is rather unexpected ... but maybe Sony has made so many of them, they want to move a few more boxes before the CES.

Edit : Definitely "and" a $200 rebate.
