2008 resolutions.

Do you guys got any new year resolutions?

Mine is:

Get my damn act together with filmmaking, and get more on top of things,
ex: Scout actors, scout locations, film, film, film!
 
Hey luis you aut to come over and work out with me, Thats number like three on mine.

Here goes:
Ski as much as I ****ing can!!!!
Be able to spend time with a certain special someone :-D!
Film as much as possible
Place in the top 20 at the Sea Otter Classic DH race this spring
Improve my skiing in both powder and park
Cleanly land a 360 and a backflip and try a 540 on skis
GET A DVX!!!!!
Get a laptop, iPod and a big LCD for my room
Try not to be such an asshat to people for no reason (jerk yes, cause thats what I am, but asshat, no)
Get the bike playground I am working on finished and start and finish a whole DH trail
Get a new DH specific bike (normally MORE expensive then a DVX, and sometimes more expensie then an HVX O.o)
Ride my bike more
get my drivers permit and license (yeah, almost 16 and a half and still dont have either)
Get my own car
Get my first full leingth bike film shot

GET MY HAIR BACK!!!!!!
 
sell a national televison series
make a movie (not for a studio)
pay off the Avid
play more, work less

In 2008 I'm going to go crazy during my last 3 quarters of college. Films, girls and beer. I'll take them separately or any combination of the three.

I want to leave college with an accomplished demo reel. 2008 is going to be a big year for me. All my big college senior films will be wrapped, I'll be graduating, and moving to Los Angeles. Before I hit the real world I'm gonna party hardy before I have to worry about mortgages, marriage, jobs, and god forbid kids. Haha. I have the foresight to see the end of my worry free days is coming fast.

I'm gonna make the best of the time and the best films. 2008 means no regrets...except if I wake up to a coyote ugly. :grin:
 
I definately want to finish my diploma in electrical engineering. Whoa, that sucks... so much work :D

Keep my already good shape ^^

Then there is that girl.. damn. That will definately be a tough one.

And of course I want to extend my approach at beeing a lousy filmmaker :D
 
I'm with Luis and going for the classic get in shape. Also going to expand my filmmaking skills and am vowing to do some personal projects and see if maybe I cant actually get good at this.
 
2008:

Make Medicine Run, the most important short I've ever written, and get it out to the festivals.
Start exercising more
Sell my animated screenplay to a studio for lots of money to invest in other projects.
 
2008.

This will be the year my first properly shot short film (not counting Film school experiments and my professional TV commercial work) will come out (now in post production)

Hope it makes a difference over here! After that... Actually don't know!

But certainly will come with something new to do. What I hate the most is to stagnate .
 
Ha, that would mean the mods would have to set their resolutions to donate more time to the site...They would have 32,368 members to evaluate and mark! (thats with the mods and i no not all of them count as a score)

Ill keep that number updated ;)
