200 hours on heads? Red Eye? Worth buying?

I'm planning on buying an XHA1, and one of the people who has contacted me about selling theirs says there are probably around 200 hours on the heads, which I think is quite a bit, and I might want to pursue one of the other offers. Am I wrong?

Also, the seller has a .7x Red Eye wide angle adapter that she is adding to the package. I've searched around the net and come up a little short on how well it performs. Any thoughts on it?

With the adapter, $1800, without, $1600. Worth buying?

anyone? I'm an email away from saying yes or no to buying the camera and I'm counting on you guys :P

200 hours isn't a lot. My DVC30 got used for around 3 years and has around 800 hours on it, still works fine when I take it out. Obviously it's a different company but I'd imagine that the manufacturer wouldn't matter for something like this since the heads seem like a pretty identical part.

If you're still looking for an XH A1, mine is up for grabs, asking 2100 but open to offers ( always asking higher price than what youre expected to get... :) )

msg me for details, otherwise it's in the marketplace. And it's recently been serviced by AMT in montreal, so it's been inspected, and the tape deck was cleaned. Works like new.
