2 Days in Mackinaw and Michigan's U.P. - Shot on 7D

This video was shot during the winter of 2010 as I helped chaperone a group of high school students on a trip to Wilderness State Park for 2 days and 3 nights. 10 students and 5 adults stayed in a rustic bunkhouse and took day trips to Mackinaw City, Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, and hiked trails around Wilderness. Most, if not all of the students, had never been up north before, maybe not even out of their hometowns.

Footage shot on a Canon 7D using various lenses. I packed a nice Induro tripod and an Indi-Slider for some shots, which was a real challenge to use at times given the weather conditions. My reason for shooting this (and the reason it's 7 minutes long) was to document the trip for the kids to watch online, and provide the other chaperones with a piece to show their bosses what the trip was like.

Awesome! Very nice. I liked so many of the shots, its hard to pick one for commentary. Liked the pacing. Dig the slo-mo, time-lapse, and slider work.
