2 cameras - 1 monitor

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know whether a device exists which will let me plug in cameras with different signal outputs (i.e., HVX and 7D) and then feed the video out to a single monitor so I can effectively view the output of either camera at the flick of a switch?

Thanks in advance for any input.
 
A signal switcher would work but you may have a hard time finding one, at a reasonable price, that takes both HDMI and component.
 
Almost any monitor with multiple inputs has some way to manually switch between them.

How quickly and easily that happens of course is another question. A home TV might take 5 pushes of an "input" button to scroll through the inputs; whereas a professional on-set monitor would most likely have a button on the front for each input.
