2 Camera Orbit?

It could even be posible to use the blue ocean as a matte, as only the white parts are frozen. Also the wakeboarder is above the horizon, it shouldn't be that difficult to mask him out.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I didnt mean the whole thing was rotoscoped, I meant "masked", but I wouldnt doubt there was rotoscoping involved so I reduced it to that.

...but the matrix-like angle changes...no idea.

What Matrix like angle changes?

So what are the differences in masking something and rotoscoping something? I've used them pretty interchangeably ... until now.

I do too. I think it is a bit too semantic, but I think rotoscoping is more actually drawing around and masking something as opposed to pulling a mask from a key. Both are masking but they are too very different methods of doing it. The person above suggested using the blue ocean to key out the background.

I said "rotoscoping" and I just meant "mask", regardless of the method.

From wiki:

The term "rotoscoping" (typically abbreviated as "roto") is now generally used for the corresponding all-digital process of tracing outlines over digital filmbluescreen will not pull an accurate enough matte.
