THE PROBLEM: ATTEMPTING TO SYNC TWO DVX CAMS BUT
AUDIO IS 2-FRAMES OFF - 100B CAM AHEAD OF 100A CAM.
TEST:
Mulitcam shoot: I have two cams: a 100A and a new 100B
Did TC set maste-slave procedure to sync the FREE RUN time
codes on two cams (from Barry's "The DVX Book" book.)
TC are running too fast to tell if the TC SET button the the 100B
really did sync them but let's presume it did (FREERUN TC looks
sync'd).
Pressed 'record' on the cams, clapped my hands, loaded the
clips into Final Cut with "Batch Capture". Viewed the audio
waveform and the timecode for the two clips. When I drag the
clips to line up timecode, 100B cam audio is two frames ahead of
the 100A cam audio.
PUZZLING. ANYBODY TRIED THIS? WOULD REALLY LIKE THIS TO
WORK
Thanks for your ideas.
