2 7d's 1 HVx200 = This Profile Piece

Thank you!! I cant take all the credit...This was the collaboration with to other guys...Danny and Jeremy. Danny is a master editor....I cant wait to do more projects with those guys.... FYI we used the h4n and recorded the guitar with an xlr direct from the amp... and he was lavd witht the Senn G3 hooked up to the hvx...

I think everything was great except for the beginning when you had those cuts to the black and white things. They flashed wayyyy too fast, I didn't get a chance to see what they were. Perhaps another second or so would have helped.

Great job!

Liked the concept, visuals, just about everything.

Just one particular thing bugged me. The fact that I could pick out the 7D shots from the HVX shots. The 7D had just a bit more clarity and crispness. It always seems to bug me a bit when I see HVX and 7D footage intercut with one another.

Great job. Talented young guitar player. I really like the way you incorporated the music throughout. It would have been nice to hear him play something at the end. I guess that's a good sign of a successful promo, I want to hear more.

I like the overall quality, the lighting was great but I felt that the chroma was a little much and the guitarists was a little orange. What did you use for color correction? If you tuned that back a bit I think it would be a little grungier or bluesy.

Anyway great job I look forward to seeing more.

Update... After filming this piece.. Daniel bought a 5d.. quit playing guitar and is now working in LA Making music videos wit Scott Hansen Productions... I knew that was going to happen....when he was drooling all over my equipment...LOL
