GH2 2.5mm Microphones for my GH2?

I am looking for cheap microphones that will work with my panasonic gh2. I want a boom mic to strap on the top of my gh2 and a lavalier i can plug into my camera and run straight to the interviewee. These dont need to be great, these are just for on the fly and around the office quick interviews. I use my tascam dr-40 and nicer microphones to sync audio for more professional pieces, but need some quick mics for fun, less important videos that need to be edited quick. I did try to search and everything still shows up as 3.5mm mics so thats why im posting (before you yell at me and say just search google).

thanks!

I bought a 2.5mm > 3.5mm adapter, and it wouldn't work with my Rode VMP, but worked fine with a cheapo Audio Technika lav.

some 2.5-3.5 adapters (such as any they sell at Radio Shack) aren't stereo and won't work properly with mics like the VMP. The above linked model works flawlessly with the VMP, Sennheiser G2 lav receiver, a 3.5mm out from an audio recorder, and every other 3.5mm mic or line solution I've tried.

thanks for your help guys, i got that adapter above, already had the audio tech lav i used with my H4N and an $80 boom mic. I also have the samson wireless lav, would this be able to use the adapter and plug into my gh2?

Check out UK company Micronic. They make excellent low priced lavaliers. They've a larger selection on ebay than on their own website and their international shipping is quick and inexpensive. American made Giant Squid lavs are also worth a look. There are sound tests for both those companies online and Curtis Judd provides a video comparison between the Giant Squid and the AT3350.
